The Anthem approach

Some of the most satisfying transformations in dentistry take under an hour. Bonding uses tooth-colored composite resin, sculpted and polished by hand, to repair chips, close small gaps, and reshape uneven edges.

It's conservative, affordable, and immediate — the artistry is in the blend, and after two decades of cosmetic work, Dr. Henry Abraham's blends are invisible.

Bonding is often the right first step for a small cosmetic concern — a chipped edge, a slightly uneven tooth, a gap you've always wanted closed — without committing to a larger procedure. It's one of several cosmetic options at Anthem Dental, alongside teeth whitening, veneers, and Invisalign.

FAQ

Dental Bonding — your questions, answered.

How long does dental bonding last?

Typically 5–10 years with good care. It can be touched up or refreshed easily at routine visits.

Does bonding damage my natural tooth?

No — it's one of the most conservative cosmetic treatments available, usually requiring no drilling at all.

Bonding or veneers — which is right for me?

Bonding excels at small, targeted fixes. Veneers offer greater durability and stain resistance for larger transformations. We'll show you both options honestly.

Does dental bonding stain?

Composite resin is more stain-prone than porcelain, so we recommend easing off coffee, tea, and red wine for the first 24–48 hours while it fully sets. After that, it stains at roughly the same rate as natural enamel.

Is bonding a good option for a chipped front tooth?

Often, yes — it's one of the most common uses for bonding. A skilled hand can rebuild a chipped edge in a single visit so it blends seamlessly with the tooth around it.

What does dental bonding cost?

It depends on how many teeth are involved and how much reshaping is needed. We give you a clear estimate at your consultation, and it's generally one of the more budget-friendly cosmetic options we offer.

New to Anthem Dental?

What to expect before you book

If you have not been to one of our offices before, what happens at a first visit walks through the whole appointment step by step — what we look at, what it costs, and what we will never do without telling you first. Walk-ins are welcome at every office, though calling ahead means less waiting.

Dental Bonding is performed in-house, so nothing here is referred out to a stranger across town. Meet the team who would be treating you, and read how the practice works if you want the fuller picture. We are in-network with the major PPO plans and also accept Medi-Cal Dental (Denti-Cal) and IEHP — see the full list and what it means for your bill.

Choose whichever office is easiest for you: all 3 are here, each with its own hours, parking and directions.
