Fallbrook is an unincorporated community in northern San Diego County, immediately east of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Insurance across the county line
Being in a different county matters for some plans. PPO plans aren't tied to a county, but check that we're in your plan's network. Medi-Cal Dental is a statewide California program, and the state's handbook says members can go to any Medi-Cal dental provider, so Fallbrook residents with Medi-Cal Dental can be seen here. IEHP, however, is a Medi-Cal plan for Riverside and San Bernardino counties only, so it is not usually the plan a Fallbrook resident is enrolled in. Call before your visit and we will confirm how your coverage applies.
Timing the drive north
The office is open Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM. The late weekday close means a Fallbrook resident who works locally can drive up after the day ends rather than giving up a morning.
Replacing a missing tooth: bridge or implant
One of the more involved decisions patients travel for is how to replace a lost tooth. Both fixed options are done here:
- A bridge uses crowns on the teeth either side to hold a false tooth between them. It is usually finished within a few weeks, which means fewer trips.
- An implant replaces the root with a titanium post and leaves the neighboring teeth untouched, but it needs months of healing before the final crown.
- A 3D cone-beam scan, taken at the office, shows whether there is enough bone for an implant.
