Using IEHP transportation to reach Menifee Town Center

Not everyone with IEHP has a car or a free driver. For a Medi-Cal-covered dental appointment, IEHP will arrange a ride there and back as long as the trip stays inside Riverside or San Bernardino County — and Menifee Town Center is inside it. Request the ride from IEHP's Transportation Department a full five business days or more before a routine visit, and give them this address: Anthem Dental - Menifee, 30145 Antelope Road, Suite 105, Menifee, CA 92584.

• Book your dental appointment first, then call IEHP to arrange the ride — at least five business days ahead for a routine visit.
• Leave a little margin — arrive a few minutes early so paperwork doesn't cut into your appointment.

Where your dental benefits actually come from

IEHP's own coverage page is clear that the dental side of a Medi-Cal member's benefits runs through the State's Medi-Cal Dental program, not through IEHP itself. So at the desk it is the Medi-Cal card — the Benefits Identification Card — plus a photo ID that are checked.

Menifee and its neighbors

Menifee became a city in 2008, taking in the established communities of Sun City, Quail Valley and Romoland, and it borders Perris, Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Murrieta and Winchester. • The Medi-Cal card and a photo ID — those are what dental eligibility is checked against.
• Your IEHP member card as well — it helps if your plan has its own dental rules.

What a routine IEHP visit here involves
