Severe or lingering toothaches — Pain that lingers with hot or cold, or a throb that wakes you at night, usually means the infection has reached the tooth's nerve. A root canal relieves that pain and lets you keep the natural tooth.
Broken, chipped, or cracked teeth — A tooth broken at the gumline or too damaged for a filling to hold usually needs a crown to restore it, or in more serious cases a surgical extraction — imaging tells us which before we begin, all done under complete local anesthesia.

Emergencies are handled in-house with cone-beam 3D imaging and modern anesthetics, by the same team you'd see for a routine cleaning. No referral to another practice across town while you’re in pain. We also welcome patients from Sun City, Canyon Lake, Romoland, and Perris.
Open six days a week
We're open mon–sat 10 am – 6 pm, including Saturdays — so a Friday-night toothache or a weekend chipped tooth doesn't have to wait until mid-week. Call as early as you can and we'll do our best to fit you in. We are in-network with the major PPO plans, and separately accept Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal Dental) and IEHP, with CareCredit and Sunbit financing available.
This was my first time going to Anthem Dental in Menifee. The first time customer registration was quick and easy. My appt was set for 3:30pm and they were right on time. Ivy took the X-rays and pics, she was friendly and attentive engaged in conversation. Lesley was friendly and informative as well. She helped me with payment options and was very detailed and transparent. Yes. Anthem Dental Menifee treats dental emergencies for patients across Menifee, Sun City, Canyon Lake, Romoland, and Perris. If you're in pain, call (951) 302-9300 as early in the day as you can and we'll do our best to work you into the schedule.
Can I get a same-day emergency dental appointment?
We do our best to see patients in pain the same day, and walk-ins are welcome if you cannot call ahead. Calling first thing still helps — we are open six days a week, including Saturdays, which gives us more room to fit urgent visits around our scheduled patients.
What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe or worsening tooth pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, uncontrolled bleeding, facial swelling, or a lost crown or filling that's causing pain all warrant calling us right away. When in doubt, call and we'll help you decide.
My tooth was knocked out — what should I do?
Handle the tooth by the crown, not the root. Rinse it gently without scrubbing, and if you can, place it back in the socket or keep it moist in milk or saliva. Then get to us as quickly as possible — reimplantation works best within about 60 minutes.

Yes. Uninsured patients and Denti-Cal (Medi-Cal Dental) patients are both welcome for emergency care, with the same care team and standard of care as every other patient. New patients without insurance can also use our $125 exam and X-ray special.
