A first-thing cleaning at Canyon Springs
Anthem Dental – Moreno Valley opens at 9 AM from Tuesday to Friday, the earliest start of the three Anthem offices, and at 10 AM on Monday. A cleaning booked for the first slot of the day is usually over before a late-morning shift or the middle of the school morning.
The office is on Canyon Springs Parkway, on the Riverside side of the line with Moreno Valley. The checkup is with Dr. Henry Abraham, the practice's dentist, and the front desk speaks Spanish as well as English. It is closed at weekends.
“Brenda was very kind! She walked me through my cleaning and was attentive the entire time. Brenda was gentle and she took care of my teeth well. I would tell my friends to come here because the staff is always welcoming and present.”

Cleanings at Canyon Springs
An early cleaning, then on with the day
The office is open Monday 10 AM to 5 PM and Tuesday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. Tuesday to Friday it opens earlier than any other Anthem office, so the first cleaning of the day can be done before most people's working day has properly begun; on Monday it opens a little later. It is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Your first cleaning here
- Arrive a few minutes early for the health-history forms, which the front desk can go through in Spanish.
- Bring a photo ID and your dental plan card — or, for Medi-Cal Dental or IEHP, your Medi-Cal card.
- If you have recent X-rays from another office, ask for them to be sent; current ones may not need repeating.
- Mention any sensitive teeth or gums before the cleaning starts, so the hygienist can work around them.
When it has been a few years
That is common. The first visit is an exam and X-rays; if hardened tartar has collected below the gumline, a deep cleaning may come before routine cleanings can take over, done in sections, often with the area numbed. It is explained and priced before it is booked.
Getting here
The office is at 2712 Canyon Springs Pkwy, Suite 3, Riverside, in the Canyon Springs business park, reached from the Day Street exit on State Route 60 or the Eucalyptus Avenue exit on I-215. From Moreno Valley and Canyon Springs it is a short drive; IEHP members without a ride can ask IEHP to arrange one for a Medi-Cal-covered dental visit, giving at least five business days' notice for a routine appointment. Free parking throughout the Canyon Springs plaza lot, with accessible spaces near Suite 3.
Keeping the result between visits
A cleaning resets the clock, and what happens at home decides how much tartar is back by the next one. Brush twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste, angling the bristles toward the gumline where plaque gathers. Clean between the teeth once a day with floss or small interdental brushes, which reach where bristles cannot. Keep sugary drinks to mealtimes rather than sipping them through the day. If your gums bleed, mention it at your next visit rather than avoiding the area when you brush.

FAQ
Cleanings in Moreno Valley — your questions, answered.
Do you accept Medi-Cal Dental and IEHP for cleanings?
Both are accepted at the Canyon Springs office, along with most major PPO plans. Eligibility is checked before your visit; bring your Medi-Cal card and a photo ID.
What time is the first cleaning of the day?
9 AM from Tuesday to Friday, and 10 AM on Monday.
My gums bleed when I floss. Should I still come in?
Yes. Bleeding gums are usually an early sign of inflammation, and a professional cleaning with better care at home is where treatment starts. If the checkup finds deeper pockets, a deep cleaning is explained and priced before it is booked.
Can my child's cleaning be booked next to mine?
Yes. Tell the front desk who is coming and the appointments can be booked one after the other, early in the day if that suits you.
